Sandy is a qualified Level 4 Personal Trainer, Sports Massage Therapist, 200-hour Yoga teacher and currently studying Osteopathy at the University College of Osteopathy. Sandy provides personalised training sessions for each client based on their goals with a special interest in biomechanics and injury rehabilitation.
As a qualified 200 Hour Yoga and Rocket teacher Sandy enjoys creating playful sequences for her clients, as well as restorative mindfulness mediation sessions. Should a client arrive with an injury or feel fatigued she can quickly adapt their session to a deep tissue or sports massage. She incorporates stretches, mobilisation/articulation, and muscle energy techniques to assist your nervous system adapt to your environment and is passionate about providing you with the tools to achieve your goals.
Sandy trained as an animator and then retrained to be a web analyst. During this time Sandy competed in triathlon and duathlons to keep fit; she went on to qualify for the World Age Group Duathlon Championships in 2007. After 15 years as a web analyst consultant, Sandy retrained again as a personal trainer in 2017, which is what she always wanted to be, and has since gone on to maintain a 5* review score on Google from over 80 reviews.
Qualifications aside Sandy is a friendly, attentive, approachable, determined, and kind-hearted pragmatist who loves combining sport and adventures. Her last adventure was to Taiwan, which involved learning Mandarin, hiking forests, biking around lakes (and getting thoroughly lost!), bunkering down during a typhoon and wakeboarding in Taipei. She loves learning from others, working with people and is passionate about exercise, health, and fitness.
